Post Presentation

I have just presented my TTALK earlier today, and I can honestly say that it went very well.

I did my TTALK on saving paper in a classroom, as you probably know and the biggest compliment I got was that my passion was incredibly strong, which I was so happy to hear because my passion for this topic ignited this whole presentation and my blog.

( Subscribe to the person who gave me that compliment's blog by clicking on this link: http://gmomeansno.wixsite.com/website )

After watching my presentation back, I have determined two criticisms that I would have given to myself if I was a live spectator.

The first one was that I should have stood on the side where the computer was. Some of you might not think that this is a big deal, but it was an issue because I had to go to the computer multiple times during my presentation and it cut the flow of my presentation and distracted the audience a bit, whereas it would have been way more subtle if I had stood next to the computer.

The last piece of feedback that I would have given to myself is to have a bit more eye contact. I have been working on this skill since my first presentation this year, and I still need to work on it a bit more, so that I can eventually perfect it. I believe that I look up too much for short periods of time, when I should be looking up less times, but for longer periods of time each time I look up. I think that if I practice this technique and pay attention to it as I present orally, I will fix this problem soon.

In terms of content, I think that I had a good amount of it and I think that it was not too overwhelming for the audience, yet it got the point across. I also think that I had good visual to match my content. I had a picture for each part of the presentation and I even included a video that I promised in my last blog post that I would link in this blog post. ( Here the link is to the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iHVnsnekHVI )

I think that my voice had a great fluency to it and as I briefly mentioned before, my tone of voice and the way I presented explicitly showed my passion towards this topic, which I am thrilled about because that was my goal coming into this task.

In conclusion, I am very happy with how my presentation went and even though this is the last assigned blog post that I have... I think, I will still try to upload so that I can update you about my life and about how my goal of saving paper is going/progressing.

Here is a picture of my presentation...

This is the beginning of my Paperless Classroom presentation

If you wish to watch the whole presentation, please send me a shout via my website and I will be sure to send you a copy of the video for you to watch and hopefully enjoy.
